About
A Philosophy
That Endures
Founded in 1986 by Dave Moore, the company began with a straightforward philosophy: listen carefully, build exceptionally well and approach every project around the individual needs of the client. That philosophy continues to guide every custom home, remodel and renovation we undertake today.
experience
Experience You Can Build On
A truly custom home is about more than distinctive architecture and beautiful finishes. It is about creating a home that reflects the way its owners want to live.
Dave brings decades of construction knowledge, creative insight and hands-on experience to every project. From the earliest conversations through the finishing details, he works closely with clients, architects, designers and craftsmen to bring each vision to life with thoughtful planning and meticulous attention to detail.
That collaborative approach has earned Dave Moore Companies something we value deeply: the trust of our clients. Much of our work comes through referrals from homeowners who have experienced the process firsthand—a testament to relationships built as carefully as the homes themselves.
recognition
A Reputation for Craftsmanship
Over the years, Dave Moore Companies has earned recognition for quality craftsmanship from the Memphis Area Home Builders Association and has become a trusted resource among respected planners and designers throughout the area.
But the measure of our work has never been an award alone.
It is found in the details that make a home distinctive, the quality that endures long after construction is complete and the confidence our clients have in knowing Dave remains accessible and involved throughout their project.
Whether building a custom home from the ground up or thoughtfully reimagining an existing one, our goal remains the same as it was in 1986: to create exceptional spaces with integrity, care and lasting value.
Our Commitment
Four Decades. One Standard.
Trends change. Homes evolve. But exceptional craftsmanship never goes out of style.
For 40 years, Dave Moore Companies has built its reputation one project—and one relationship—at a time. We look forward to building what comes next.
